Shabana has recently addressed the Birmingham Leaseholders Action Group (BrumLAG) roundtable on the cladding scandal.

In her remarks, Shabana commended the work of campaigners and shared her most recent work on behalf of leaseholders.

Shabana repeated her calls for an insurance guarantee, similar to the Flood Re scheme, to ensure leaseholders woes weren’t compounded by mounting service charges.

Closing her contribution, Shabana committed to highlighting new concerns raised by leaseholders and tenants, and pledged to share them with the Government.
