Shabana welcomes DLUHC committee enquiry into exempt sector

Commenting on the news that the Levelling Up, Housing and Communities select committee will open an inquiry into supported exempt accommodation, Shabana Mahmood said:

“I welcome the news that the DLUHC select committee has launched an inquiry into the exempt accommodation sector.

“I have long-campaigned for the Govt to close loopholes, which enable cowboy landlords to exploit their tenants with a range of abuses, whilst costing taxpayers millions every year.”
