This month, millions of Muslims across the world will observe the Holy Month of Ramadan – an important time in the Islamic calendar.

Alongside tens of thousands of Birmingham residents, Shabana will be fasting during daylight hours to reflect on her relationship with God and to remember those less fortunate.

This year, Shabana is marking Ramadan by inviting school children across Birmingham Ladywood of all faiths and none to think about how they might observe special or religious occasions with family and friends.

Shabana has contacted schools with list of questions for students to answer. Each week, she will be releasing a new video on her social media with clips from different schools across Birmingham Ladywood.
