Shabana has visited Southport mosque to express solidarity with worshippers, after scenes violent disorder over the summer.
In July, a violent attack on young girls in Southport sent shockwaves across the country.
The attack was soon exploited by the far-right, who burned police cars and through missiles at the mosque in Southport.
During her visit to Southport, Shabana laid flowers at the Town Hall in memory of the three young girls who lost their lives, and spoke to worshippers from the mosque about the impact of recent events.
