Shabana has thanked community groups and residents during a visit to Alum Rock this week.

Over the course of the afternoon, Shabana visited Naseby Youth Centre, held a local advice surgery, and made house visits in the community.

At the Naseby Youth Centre, Shabana met award-winning youth worker Darnish Amraz, and heard from community activists about local challenges.

Following the visit Shabana held one of her regular advice surgeries, assisting residents with cases relating to planning, housing, and road safety.

Speaking after the visit, Shabana said:

I’ve had a wonderful afternoon meeting the people and organisations that make Alum Rock special.

 

It’s been brilliant to welcome Alum Rock into the new Birmingham Ladywood constituency – and I’m here to serve residents all year round.
