Shabana Mahmood Member of Parliament for Birmingham Ladywood

Shabana has visited Wyndcliffe Primary school in Bordesley Green to speak to pupils and teachers.
The school is only a couple of minutes away from where Shabana grew up.
In its most recent Ofsted inspection, the school earned a coveted ‘Outstanding’ rating, making it one of the areas top schools.
As part of her visit, Shabana toured the school and answered questions from the school’s Unicef Ambassadors.
Speaking at the visit, Shabana said:
This was a special one for me… because it’s two minutes away from the street where I grew up in Small Heath.
A huge amount of credit goes to the Executive Head Teacher Razia Ali, who has been with this school on its journey to Outstanding.
Thank you to students for their brilliant questions – and thank you for inviting me to visit.
