Shabana has written to Birmingham City Council regarding the derelict SK Building in Digbeth.

The building, which has been left abandoned for over 5 years, caught fire earlier this week.

Planning permission was granted for the site to be developed in 2019, but no changes have been made since.

Residents and businesses are concerned that the building presents a danger to the public.

In her letter to Cllr Sharon Thompson, Deputy Leader of Birmingham City Council, Shabana has called upon the council to deliver an action plan for the site.
