Tragic Industrial Accident that Claimed the Lives of Four Gambians and One Senegalese

The Gambian Association is very sad to inform the Gambian communities in Birmingham, UK, the diaspora and those in The Gambia about the tragic and untimely departure of four Gambians, one Senegalese and one casualty through an industrial accident. The accident happened on Thursday 07/07/2016 at a recycling plant in Nechells, Birmingham, UK. This sad incidence has taken Gambians in Birmingham and the surrounding at a great shock and we have joined in solidarity to share our pain and sadness together. The local MPs, Councillors, West Midlands Fire Services and the West Midlands Police are doing everything they can to recover the dead bodies from the rubble. We shall keep everybody posted as and when we receive further information.
