The police tell me that Nechells and Digbeth police stations will be closed to save money.
We all know that the Government has cut the police budget time and time again. Since 2010 the West Midlands Force has lost nearly 2,000 police officers. And yet they still can't balance the books.
The Government keeps on taking and taking and taking and, not surprisingly, crime is on the up. When will the Prime Minister learn?
I have set up a petition to oppose these closures and to demand more cash from the Government for local policing.
