Shabana receives Minister response on Shisha lounges

Shabana has received a response from Luke Hall MP, Minister for Regional Growth and Local Government, in response to her letter on Shisha regulation.

In January, Shabana met with the Minister to raise her concerns regarding the proliferation of Shisha lounges and lack of regulation.

Proposals to regulate Shisha lounges under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 are now being considered by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government.
