Earlier this week, the Regulator for Social Housing published a regulatory notice stating that Easy Housing Association has breached standards in governance and financial viability following a referral from Shabana Mahmood, MP for Birmingham Ladywood.

Commenting on the Regulator’s action, Shabana Mahmood MP said:

“I’m pleased to see that the Regulator has published a notice on Easy Housing.

“It is unacceptable that providers can continue to profit off vulnerable people, whilst decimating the local area and destroying communities.

“I welcome the Regulator’s notice and the measures that have been put in place to monitor Easy Housing’s performance.

“I hope this means that the provider gets its act together, but I will reserve my judgment and until I see evidence that things have turned around.”
